Little Traverse Conservancy
The Conservancy manages over 172 nature preserves in five counties. The LTC trail map (or phone app) is a great resource for nearby hiking, running, or mountain biking trails.

North Country Trail
The North Country Trail stretches across seven states from New York to North Dakota. Some nearby trailheads include Brutus Rd and Larks Lake Rd

Top of Michigan Trails Council
A great site for tons of nearby trails, including the Little Traverse Wheelway. Also known as “the bike path,” the Wheelway is a paved trail that runs 26 miles from Charlevoix to Harbor Springs.

Petoskey State Park
Petoskey State Park is located between Petoskey and Harbor Springs. The Park has a large stretch of beach along Lake Michigan, as well as trails and campgrounds.

Wilderness State Park
Located north of Cross Village, Wilderness has multi-use trails, camping, and 26 miles of beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline.

Trout Creek Condominiums
Trout Creek is located right around the corner from Nub’s Nob and Boyne Highlands and includes amenities such as pools, fishing ponds and hiking trails.

Birchwood Inn
Located on M119 just north of Harbor Springs, the Birchwood Inn is a great place to stay in any season.

Best Western
The Best Western lies right between Harbor Springs and Petoskey next to the Harbor Springs airport. This prime location allows you to stay close to town and all of the outdoor activities Northern MI has to offer.

Sam’s Graces
A new addition to downtown Harbor Springs, Sam’s Graces offers hand-crafted breakfast, lunch, bread, and pastries. They also make great brick-oven pizzas.

The Fish
Located north of Harbor Springs, The Fish has a wide-range of great food on the menu.

Pond Hill Farm
Located just north of Harbor Springs on M119, Pond Hill is a great destination for family-friendly farm-fresh food. Also, check out their winery and Tunnel Vision Brewery.

Turkey’s Cafe and Pizzeria
Turkey’s is the go-to for pizza on Main St. in Harbor Springs. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner year-round.

Stafford’s Pier Restaurant
Looking for a meal with a view? The Pier is located right on the water in Downtown Harbor Springs and offers many options for lunch and dinner.

The New York
The New York is located on the corner of Bay and State in downtown Harbor Springs. They offer gourmet dining year-round.

Harbor Springs Area Historical Society
The Harbor Springs History Museum is located in the former city hall building on Main St. It features great exhibits that document the unique history of the area.

Little Traverse Historical Museum
Located in downtown Petoskey, the LT Historical Museum is open May-October.

Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council
Tip of the Mitt is an organization dedicated to protecting our nearby lakes, streams, wetlands, and groundwater.

Pond Hill Farm

Goodhart General Store
A quaint, old-fashioned general store with delicious sandwiches and baked goods! Located 10 miles north of Harbor Springs on M119, the Goodhart store has everything you need for a picnic at the beach.

Boyne Highlands
Boyne is a family resort for all seasons! Located off of Pleasantview Road outside of town, Boyne offers skiing, golf, ziplining, and more!

Nub’s Nob
Nub’s Nob is the premier Midwest ski resort. It is located off of Pleasantview Road and features downhill and cross-country ski trails that are always expertly groomed!
