Nordic Ski Series

Back by popular demand! The 2017 Series will focus on the 3 F’s: Fundamentals, Fun, and Food (of course).

A great way to get out for a night ski, develop your skills, and meet fellow skinny skiers! Each week we’ll focus on a ski fundamental–weight transfer, double poling, etc.–by providing a brief overview indoors and then heading out to do a demo and practice drills on the snow. We’re building a nordic community in northern MI that’s open, friendly and supportive… come be a part of it.

Open to All! All abilities are welcome!  All ages from 9 years and older.  Skiers self-divide into 3 groups for practice drills: Beginner/Intermediate, Advanced, and Youth.

Every Wednesday night at 6:15pm

Come to any/all weeks that fit your schedule. Note: weeks alternates between classic and skate.

  • Classic Ski: January 4, January 18, February 1, February 15, March 1
  • Skate Ski: January 11, January 25, February 8, February 22, March 8

Meet at 6:15PM in the Nub’s Nob Brown Bagger room (lower level). Look for the slope side door (under the deck) by the yellow chair for easy in-out.  Leave your skis outside on the racks to cool down.
