The Capella 163 is for paddlers between 130-190 lb. It is more stable with good secondary stability. It turns easily.  Flatter keel, shallow V hull, hard edge with a soft chine. adds up to a quick moving boat.  More even volume distribution throughout the hull. A very efficient  boat for its length. Skeg helps in windy conditions. Playful and easy to use in the surf and rougher conditions.
