|Running Workshop: Preventing Injuries and Trainig for a Half Marathon

Learn the "need to knows" for a successful race experience from training runs to race day! Jeff Samyn, certified physical therapist with Northern Michigan Sports Medicine Center, will share his expertise with tips for runners of all abilities from beginners to experienced. He will cover how to identify, address and prevent the most common running injuries as well as how to build your running base and progress from there injury-free. Selecting the proper running shoe for your foot aslo will be covered. Don't miss this chance to get off, and stay, on the right foot! The lecture will be held at The Outfitter at 7:00 pm.
