About Us

The Outfitter came into being in 1972 when owner Nolan Rowe renamed the gun shop.  In 1978, Andy and Mary D Bowman bought the store and developed the store's trademark reputation of selling qualitiy goods with great service for the next twenty-three years.  In 1982, the store moved into what had been the Lyric Theater.  (Come on in to sit down and relax in the original theater seats!) In 2001, the Baker family took over the reins of the store, and in 2006 Josh and Molly Baker moved home and bought the store keeping the tradition alive.

We have 4,000 square feet of quality equipment and top brand clothing and accessories for all seasons.  Check out our shoe room up front, gear room in back and clothing and accessories in the middle.  We even have a shoe loft  with discounted shoes.
